Lake Massawippi is an exceptional place that has been the scene of multiple stories and mysteries that inspired a compendium of tales and legends. A copy of it, surprisingly stamped with the date June 17, was sent to you without further explanation and you did not give it much thought. However, when the day arrived, at exactly midnight, the surrounding air was filled with a strange energy, the book magically lit up and all the pages turned white! Since then, creatures, characters, and objects straight out of the stories in the compendium have been spotted in various places around the lake. The local municipalities are calling for your help: Explore these places to find the elements of tales and legends that have escaped and bring them back into the book!
“Legends of Lake Massawippi: The Quest for the Lost Pages” is an enigmatic journey for all ages. Alone, with family or friends, scan the QR code at the bottom of the poster using the camera of a cell phone to access the start of the game. Go to the five municipalities where the game takes place, find the enigmatic posters located there and solve the puzzles presented to you by using the elements around you!
You will need cellular data (Internet) or a wifi connection on your mobile device to access the introduction and conclusion of the game, but not to solve the puzzles in the municipalities. These are entirely located on posters installed on site.
Clues and the answer will be accessible on the back of each puzzle poster if you ever need them.
There is no time limit to complete the journey and you can access the conclusion of the game online at any time.
